I photograph people for a living, mostly in Portland, Oregon, the quirky, West coast town where heaps of creative folks settle to live communally, ride bikes with rolled up pant cuffs, and change the world with great ideas. While in graduate school at the Univ. of Missouri, my friends and I started Debauchery Mondays, an excuse to get together and drink. Reluctant to limit our social hour to a single day, we decided, on one particularly debaucherous Monday, to christen every day of the week with its own title. Hence, Liquid Wednesday.
